Kushal Punjabi (Bollywood actor) just went.

Hanging on his ceiling fan. Must've been one heavy duty ceiling fan.

It seems in India most people hang from ceiling fans.

You never know the details, though. For example, most of the discussion on hanging threads is about how to hit the "sweet spot".
For all we know, none of the these people hit the sweet spot and they choked to death in agony. Also, you dont know how many times they tried before, how many times they practised.

It just looks easy cause all we see is end result....

I can say you hear about the ones who actually CTB. Countless others have tried and failed. You don't hear about those people until they actually succeed and you read about prior attempts.

It is more difficult when you are a celebrity. Finding the time when you are 100 percent alone and won't have anybody looking for you or checking in on you.

Yeah, I mean they're just like everyone else, they just have an extraordinary job. And unlike us, they are monitored constantly. X bought a sub at Y sub shop today wearing brand Z shoes and with an unknown person! Yeah, try to kill yourself with non-stop prying eyes, possibly cameras pointed into your house. They see you buying drugs of any type, or suspect someone bringing them to you--instant scandal.

The simple hanging is probably the quickest, easiest to do that no one questions anything if you bought something, and you already have the stuff at home anyway--and you'd already have a door/something in your house that's not visible from a window.

Even the girl from the music group G.R.L hung herself seem so easy why does it seem so hard for me? Bobby Kristina killed her self so easy to. Toni Braxtons niece did to. I guess I'm just jealous

These celebrities are no different from the rest of us. Who's to know they haven't visited the forum before they exited the world. Robin Williams cleared his iPad history before he hanged himself. He also tried to cut his wrist.

The thing that separates a person to follow through and commit suicide is the ability to let go. That's what so many people lack in their own ways. Either they are too scared for the pain or what's to come after death. I know I could just use my rope and tie to a tree and fully hang and that would be the end of me if I wanted it that bad. Instead I'm trying partial and realize I'm not going in 100% and holding back cause it's so hard to just let go.
For me it seems like partial-hanging requires too much conscious will to cause myself pain and kill myself, and that's just something that seems like it isn't worth it

Or at least seems almost impossible to do (I'm not saying that it is impossible, I'm just saying that it seems like it's impossible when you're doing it)
As I understand it she had completely ruined her health with narcotics (crack among other things). Alcohol poisoning alone will likely not be effective for most people.

It's clear her lifestyle predestined her for an early death but I wonder if she consciously wanted to die that day.

Very true. It's one of the key reasons why most people are born optimists: no matter how bad life gets they adjust to it mentally and it becomes as you said the new normal. Which is why poor people usually won't die by suicide while the rich who suddenly become poor have a far greater chance of dying that way.

Imo it's also the reason why concentration camp inmates overwhelmingly did not even attempt suicide even though their situation was clearly and objectively hopeless. Kudos to them of course and I understand not wanting to let the scum win at all costs but it doesn't seem very reasonable to continue living when life has become so incredibly grim, painful and hopeless and you're surrounded on all sides by death, hatred and violence. A quick death vs. months to years of unbearable suffering with the near certainty of dying anyway. I think I'd prefer to do it myself instead of at the vile hands of a swine in human form. Of course that's easy to say and am thankful such a monstrosity did not occur in my lifetime, yet anyway.

Another reason is that people adopt the standard of those around them: if everybody in the neighbourhood is poor that's much easier to bear than if you're the only one, especially if it happened suddenly.
To me I wonder how much of it has to do with hanging just being painful

Scary line of thought to travel down though

Yes. Robin cut his wrist first and felt a lot of pain so he decided to hang himself.
