All alone

Haha just had a fight with my parents, said that I didn't want to live, well, they said that they don't really need me and that I'm a weakling, it's so funny to me and I felt that I was completely alone and even somehow it became easier, freer or something, but of course a little offensively. These creatures have brought me to the point where I am now. For ten years I lived under their orders and threats that they would turn away from me if I didn't do what they said, then of course I didn't want them to abandon me, but now I don't care.
I've seen people here sharing their feelings, so I wanted to, too.

Hey, you always have us, perhaps we are not there physically and you do not know how our faces look, but we really are here.
And I relate completely, my mother wished death upon me many times, and told me I'm a disappointment for wanting to be a painter,..

I 100% agree with @yeksovaz post, so eloquently said. I have mentioned on SS so, so much about how my "parents" never wanted me and called me "the mistake" to my face and even in public.

With that said, my heart broke into pieces for you, as one can tell from your post, just how thoughtful and kind you are.

Thank you for sharing your feelings, as I consider you a good friend and SS as a family to me, so sharing one's feelings one here makes for a loving and caring place called SS.

To me it's so horrible how people selfishly and unfairly bring life into this world, just to treat them badly. I really do believe that humans are responsible for so much of the suffering that sadly exists here, but anyway best wishes.

I'm sorry this happened. How incredibly insensitive and cruel of your parents to say something like that to you. I can certainly understand why you would want to free yourself from their harsh influence. Is there anyway you can move away from
them and be more out on your own? It might help you to not feel so much like you are subject to their order which seems to be pretty negative. xo, j

I am sorry about your parents. It's important to understand they are humans so they make mistakes and are not perfect like the usually imagine them to be when we are younger.
You are not weak and not a mistake. They are.

Unfortunately, parents aren't always helpful and loving. They're just humans who don't really know what they're doing 99% of the time, like everyone else. But that is their failure, not yours. I won't presume to know their motives, but whatever those are, know that at the end of the day, their attitudes and words reflect their inner failures and problems, and have no bearing on who you are as a person.

At the end of the day, parents and other family members are just people who happen to be related to you by pure chance. Some people get lucky and have great parents/relatives, others don't. Whatever the case, you have the ability to define who you are, regardless of what others might say.

Thank you for the answer, I think that probably some people bring children into this world because they "need to" because of the opinion of society, and not because they "want to".

Thanks for the answer, I have the opportunity to move to another city, of course it's a little scary to start life from scratch, but I think it's a good idea.

Thank you for the answer, he put me in my place a little, since childhood my parents did not allow me to express myself as a person and saw in me only the fulfillment of their unfulfilled dreams, my father sent me to study to become an auto mechanic because he always wanted to become one, but he himself did not succeed, and my mother forced me to engage in professional sports, since she has been an athlete all her life and now works as a coach. As I wrote above, now I fully understand that these are just people.
