A Tribute To Lostnotfound

I spoke to her 30 minutes prior to drinking SN. She said you @Jean4 and another user were taking care of her and keeping her sane. I told her she was in my thoughts and she was thankful.

She was kind and reached out to me when I wasn't so well. I'm so sorry she was in this situation. I hope she found the peace she was looking for.

I had the honor to be present with Lostnotfound yesterday when she ended her pain. Her method was SN and she followed Stan's Guide, and was not in pain.

Lostnotfound did not want to die. However, she saw no other options. She had multiple legal issues and police investigations. There was a restraining order in place, and she was not permitted to see her children. Lost felt that she would rather die than be without her children.

Lost had two partners prior to eventually CTBing in a hotel room by herself, because they did not work out. A reminder to be careful of who you choose as a partner should you go that route.

Lost had mental health issues that didn't make things easier for her. She was also allergic to cats. We talked often about that lol.

Lost was a kind, gentle soul who was dealt a bad hand in this life and the legal system let her down. She stated that police were slow to investigate the charges against her. While she had a lawyer, she liked, she did not feel she was doing a good job of pushing the police to investigate.

May Lost have the peace now that she was denied in this life.

RIP sister. I hope there is a new, peaceful world beginning for you now.

This is so hard. Such a struggle for me.

I wanted another outcome for @Lostnotfound , but it was not my choice and not to be.

Of course, I am hoping the very best for her. That she is free of the chains that have been dragging her down, that she is no longer troubled by all that her life had become, that she is free to fly. As always, thank you @Jean4 for helping her over the bridge.

I just wish it could have been different.

Thank you, Jean, for such a lovely tribute to Lostnotfound. May she find the peace she so deserves.



Her endless love is so beautiful and yet so tragic all at once. I hope that I can find it in myself to be as good and as loving as a mother to my own children as she clearly was to hers.



Please, may you rest in peace, Lostnotfound. You will be missed.



Maybe I'll meet you on the other side someday. I'd really like that, for you are truly a remarkable and strong and beautiful woman.

I would like to add.... A number of us communicated at great length with @Lostnotfound to see if there was anything that could be done to help her situation.
Ultimately, however, she made the choice, entirely of her own will, regarding what she wished to do.

Too many. The world is a cruel place. I will say that I have helped more stay than leave. ;)

I'd like to vouch for @Jean4 . When she says "I have helped more stay than leave", I have often seen her asking people in panic to take a deep breath and express themselves and to consider other options.

This has been my personal observation. I always say it as I see it.

Members asked for that refused to answer . If you know someone or participated in a ctb please be thoughtful , truthful , honest , and transparent , do not misrepresent or be coy -- I think these are things we can all agree on

Well, I wanted to address some of the things @HopeDiesLast had written, who seemed to be generally questioning what took place.
I agree that some choices of words can be better than others.
I consider that to be a minor point, but I agree it's still worth pointing out.

Regarding some of the other points, I'm not sure if I agree, however I don't think I have the inclination/energy, etc, to debate them.
