Venting 4 days left?

My date is in 4 days. My dad seems more depressed than ever. When I set it, I didn't realize how close it was to the date his father died. I swore to myself I'd do it, but I don't know if I can leave my father like that. I don't wanna keep living but I don't wanna take him with me. I don't know what to do. I have a place, a date, all I'm missing is what song I wanna listen to last. But I feel so bad trying to figure this out while my dad already lets himself die.

Only you can make the choice to wait or go through with it.
I'd say it doesn't feel right, don't do it yet. You can postpone, but you can't come back from dying.
Either way it's up to you. You will always hurt the ones you leave behind, there's no avoiding that unfortunately..
