I think that the phrase 'extended comatose phase' (prolongued) has occured in a number of cases. Not that likely in Dignitas and the Dutch group, selection bias or help. It happens when it takes (much) longer to die. I was once engaged in a conversation with someone who was an alcoholic and chose not to use this method for the risks associated with that and N.

'but if you feel this method is not going to work for you, why simply don't focus your energy on another method?' being practical. It is what I have. Health issues and such. Originally I inteded to use a method that would physically destroy the body. Seems not practical. And it took me a long time to get SA, it's much more brutal than I had imagined.
Briefly explored the inert gas method but you need so many things, time to deliver the stuff and the messing with the exit bag. I can be such a klutz these days.

I'm a bit googling around ... and I think I found a pretty "legit" and even affordable (?) hitman site: Besa mafia. Anyone heard of that? The public thinks it's a scam (Lol and I already know it isn't!) but that's only to escape the FBI etc. It sounds too good to be true; I get the impression you won't even lose your money if the job would fail as payments all go through a third trustable party. And the site owner is even a famous darknet expert. Well.. now; correct me if I'm wrong or... anyone familiar with it?

I'll use this post as s starting point ... obviously the charts show most people dropping off early. Note that this is about elderly, dying people.

The duration of action of pentobarbital is supposed to be 1-2 hours.
Some people enter the 'prolongued comatose phase' after that.

I'm aware some people would suggest fentanyl, let's say it requires a leap of faith and especially in my case there is the potential for unexpected drug interactions. Yes, I know the theory.

Dilantin has been suggested (cardiovasculatory collapse), but that's the PPEH and I'm not aware of other sources, except that for veterinarians injections of both pentobarbital and Dilantin are preferred over the oral method. Since it's an anticonvulsant it could hypothetically interact with the clonezepam I'm also taking.

Is anyone aware of any other drugs that or method that would make one die within the 1-2 hour time frame ?

Well I can tell you that hanging can potentially be an instant death..There is something called "reflex vagus inhibition". It's a pretty rare cause of death in hanging cases. You have to position the noose correctly, so that the ligature applies pressure to the point where the carotid artery branches. It's important that the pressure is applied suddenly..This stimulates the "vagus nerve", which either slows down your heart frequency or if done right, causes your heart to stop beating. This is an almost instantaneous death but in 50% of cases there are symptoms before unconsciousness occurs.

An equation that hangmen must use so that your head doesn't get ripped clean off or that that takes a long time to rip or that you are gagging for forever and simply become a vegetable or have you flop around Forever Until the ligature finally suffocates you? And your are simply found hanging but alive? I'm tuning in late but it concerned me

Well unfortunately most deaths involve pain unless your head spontaneously explodes, there's an idea! A dozen fireworks strapped to your head should be able to do that.

Buckshot will due the job, in Denmark we have shotgun suicides too and the biggest shells we can buy is even smaller than American standard buckshot, just never use birdshot.

you can try N but it's been increasingly harder to get ahold of. SN isn't painless, but from my research it's like a very bad hangover that only lasts... maybe half an hour before you pass.

Jump here, the tallest tower here. Guaranteee death with this height, not only death, you be mush. I doubt there be much pain, it be BAM, over.

Personally I think i'd still take the gun tbh.
You could be falling for quite a few seconds from that height, and i don't know if i'd be brave enough to actually step off. Then again it would take some guts to actually pull the trigger too...

If you drop hang right or aim correctly with a high powered gun death is faster than falling asleep. (You could probably lessen survival instinct by painting the gun pink or something to trick your brain. ) If you use the right drug cocktail you will feel euphoric better than ever before death. I am not going to give you ideas on things that would be considered act of terrorism to die.
