I thought I would share it to ease tensions caused by news such as New York Journal, and to demonstrate that even though it feels like it, we're not truly alone.

"Supposedly painless". Bitch, if this isn't painless, then what the fuck is?
"The issue of making profit from death". People are making profit from food, water, sex, birth, education, law enforcement, energy, housing, need I go on? Why would death be an exception? I dislike stupidity being mascaraed as curiosity or nuance.

everything about death is expensive in our shit world. It's okay to profit from expensive grave rocks and wood boxes but it's not okay to profit from peaceful death.

I have huge respect for the inventor of this suicide pod, Dr. Philip Nitschke. He is a hero and a tireless fighter for human rights across the world. Yes, the right to die a peaceful and dignified death at a time of one's own choosing is also a fundamental human right. He is also the author of the Peaceful Pill Handbook, one of the, if not the most valuable resource for those wanting a peaceful and dignified means of CTB.
The Australian government went after him for his tireless efforts but he never gave up. His first idea was to set up a laboratory in Australia to manufacture N, but the government put an end to that. Then he came up with the inert gas method and helped many to CTB. Now he has developed the method further into this suicide pod.
This "suicide pod" requires a large 3D printer and a large volume of nitrogen, which may not be accessible to many. I hope he develops the idea further and comes up with a simple & small "suicide mask".
Dr. Philip Nitschke deserves a Nobel Prize for Peace for his long and continued struggle for human rights.

It's ironic that the person in the video says that the company that makes those pods "profits from death", while he himself probably profits from prolonged suffering.

Watched the short last night as it was recommended. Meh, I guess the idea is fine, it's good for those who are terminally ill and choose to end their lives to have another method available, but I don't know what will be of it in the near future, if it'll become common or what else. I'm not very knowledgeable in this matter so I'll just sit and watch what happens. Though, glad to see a lot of people support the idea and share their personal experiences, there's a sense of empathy and comprehension for others' decisions.
