Cure by Kiyoshi Kurosawa. One of the creepiest horror movies. The cryptic nature of the movie along with the overall atmosphere, cinematography and acting. It's one of the best horror films imo

Horror on the high desert. It's a 3 part film and there is a 4th part coming out. I really love this series for the lore and legends.

Perfect Blue is probably my #1 favorite, incredibly harrowing psychological thriller

That's actually one of the all time great horrors. Still talked about by a lot of influential film makers today. Good choice.

When I was really young I actually used to enjoy the I Know What You Did Last Summer series and Scream as well.

Of course, today I don't find them as interesting. They're pretty generic IMO.

Over the past few years I have been hearing about hereditary over and over again. I don't do horror usually. But I had to see Midsommar and hereditary. I was able to watch Midsommar and not give a damn. But hereditary? That gets my vote.

Phew. That movie really did a number on me. I watched it for Halloween. It terrified me, but It also got me really into demonology and fallen Angel lore.I was already a fan of that because of Ghost Rider comics and stuff like that at a young age.

Anyway. If you want to watch a scary movie and actually not be scared of it anymore, just watch it over and over again. You'll just get so used to it, it won't even be scary. It'll even be funny.

I literally laugh (at this point) at that last scene where the headless mom floats into the treehouse
Glad to see Hereditary here. Feel like it's underrated and has some phenomenal soundtracks on top of the acting too.

My favorite has to be Halloween II from the 80's. I love it so much I even got a Michael Myers cardboard cutout in my room with the bleeding eyes lol.
