I'm just watching it now. They paint this forum as some sort of cult who is excited about suicide.

Typical fearmongering. No responsibility for society failing the guy they just want to pick on people who have no last resort left.

It's weird to see SaSu mentioned in one of my Facebook groups; I am part of a sibling survivors of suicide group and she posted this there and has now made it her life's mission to damn this forum.

Which is ironic considering more people have joined and become active in the community since.

She's clearly stuck in the "anger" phase of grief and is lashing out at the forum as a means of deflecting her own sense of guilt about her brother's death, desperately seeking someone else to blame, it's sad really.

First of all I think it's really tragic Vlad ended his life at the age of 17, especially if he had second thoughts and tried to get help. I have huge sympathy for his family of course. I'm glad they spoke about his life and struggles and didn't shy away from being honest about his self harm, previous attempts etc. which was obviously happening before he found this place. It's really tragic how his MH was improving and then he started getting physical pain. We can't know how severe that was, but it sounds pretty miserable. I don't think you can ever underestimate being in pain like that, and at the age of 17. Most of us here are probably in mental pain rather than physical and whereas that is horrible, I find it easier to go on day to day than if I was in physical pain. That can make you absolutely desperate. I looked it up and it said-

I can't even imagine getting diagnosed with that at the age of 17. It sounds like this is the number one reason for why he CTB. That is a failing of the health service to get his pain under control. Seriously, expecting a 17 year old to live with "terrible migraines"?! and no chance of a cure.

It actually says he bought the SN the day of the BBC expose so he probably didn't know about this site until the BBC told him! It says in an article this was "by coincidence" and "just before"-yeah right, more like he was directly led here and to the source by the BBC. That's what it says on that video. It's really risky doing an expose when they know the site and that seller is still active. Probably just them thinking suicidal people are too stupid to figure it out from their reports. We know hundreds if not thousands of members have found this site from the BBC and other articles and videos. If you really think the site is that evil, why are you leading people to it?

They touched on Vlad assisting others-but of course he's still a victim in their eyes because of his age and/or autism. He's doing exactly the same thing as they accuse other members of doing yet it's not his fault because *CULT* *BRAINWASHING* *THEY MADE HIM DO IT!* No, OWN what he did, if you think it's evil that members (probably not much older than your son) give sources out and "assist" then take responsibility for your own son doing it. Obviously he shouldn't have been on the site in the first place due to his age and I know mods would've banned him if they'd known. But if he was that vulnerable and easily brainwashed according to his family then they really should've been monitoring his net usage as he could've got sucked into incel forums and turned to violence or anything.

Lastly if the police had any evidence like encouragement or grooming to someone who ended up CTB they'd have acted and arrested members doing it. They'd have all the messages. The fact that hasn't happened speaks volumes that there is no grooming or encouragement going on. If it was happening I think we'd all want to know and have those members banned and even the site shut-down if it was happening on a mass scale like they claim. I certainly wouldn't want to be a part of a site like they portray SaSu to be, I just know it's not anything like they claim it to be. Sorry this is kind of long I just had a lot of thoughts on the video and the way they've yet again tried to tarnish mods and members. Who the hell needs this when we're all suffering. I thought I was cynical and yet they want us to believe this place is full of evil psychopaths not people struggling with their mental health. It's such black and white thinking, you can't put people into categories of "victim" and "perpetrator" when it comes to mental health and suicide.
