Discussion Would you rather be found or just go ‘missing’?

Prefer to be found so my family has closure ... Else they will go crazy searching for me with hope

I think disappearing would be the easiest option for those still in my life to "accept", but I ultimately know I'll be found as I'll go out somewhere that I can be a bit private, but someone will find the body.

I'm stuck between the two but I guess I would much rather be found for many reasons.

If I could vanish when I'm doing it to be found later by anyone besides my mom I'd do it. But I rather be found, because the other scenario isn't possible for me anyway.

I think you might find vanishing has the opposite effect on those you leave behind, in my opinion.

I'd rather go missing than be found dead. It would leave my family with some hope as opposed to them finding out why I CTBed.

It wouldn't give your family any closure if you just disappeared. They would think you're still alive for a long time.
