Probably not. I'm not well-versed in firearms, and would worry about the state I'd be left in if I failed. I also don't want my loved ones to be stuck with that image or cleaning up the aftermath.

If a gun were the only way, I'd take it... but there are plenty of other readily available methods that I find far more palatable.

No. I have guns. I could do it right now if I wanted to. I guess I'm just too chicken. Or I still have some hope left. I don't know. Maybe I'm just waiting for the right time. Or that one thing that pushes me over the edge.

I have a gun just a few feet away from me but so far I haven't used it because I'm typing this msg right now. I want to though.

Timing just isn't right yet however I do feel a good sense of power and independence from having it though.

I might just do it on impulse someday since the gun is one of my methods thats ready to go.

That's why I never bought guns.
I've been suicidal since I was a teen.
Been shooting since I was 7.
If I hadn't been gifted guns, I probably wouldn't own one. Because I knew if I had one I'd more than likely kill myself.
Now I have guns. I can exit stage left whenever I want to. It's a comfort, to some extent. Knowing I can go whenever i want to. But it also makes it very real. I can end my life in an instant, if I want. I can hold the instrument of my death in my hands, work it's action, oil it's parts, polish it's metal. And I do.
They're all high power rifles. There's no clean exit. My skull will explode from the pressure of the kinetic energy. There will be nothing of my face identifiable. My mom, who brews me sweet tea and bakes me cookies, who says "but I love you" when I say nobody loves me, will have to identify my body by some means other than my smile, my eyes, my ears. She'll have to examine my corpse and say "that scar on his buttocks, I was there that day. That's him."

Basically, but it has to be the right kind of gun with the right kind of bullets and I still need to get rid of my electronics and shit I don't want left behind. It seems like to never ends, I have already trashed so much. Having a gun by my side would definitely motivate me to get on the fast track as I would finally have a way out I could somewhat rely on.

No I'd have a lot of stuff to organize, and I'm sort of hanging on to this weird limbo right now. Also I want to die in forest where no one can find me so I would still need to hike out for a good day or two. Maybe even more.
