I tried to breathe in water. You know what happened? Water goes inside my nose and comes out from my mouth....10/10 wouldn't recommend. I was like wtf.

Why not partial suspension or torniquet?
I tried partial two times and failed even with pushing hard and fast (my throat hurted as fuck after these attempts) . So it's not a option I could block my airway but not my bloodways maybe anatomy shit. Anyway getting a high dose of benzo then go swimming in the freezing sea is the best option I see. I could jump but it's scary and might leave a mess.

Breathing out and going in the tub face down and breathing in water till I pass out instead of air ? And passing out in the tub. How would you rate this method

Honestly, not only would that hurt but it would not be feasible. Your SI would kick in long before that. You would have to do something really drastic to get that to work like you wish.

To rate it: 100% fail

the same conflicting info exists for hanging... some say it's a blissful or peaceful experience, take for example full hanging: some report the seconds they are in full suspension to be euphoric and blissful, while others say it was excruciatingly painful... ughh what to believe? are we really that different to experience things so drastically differently?
I think we are that different. When I was attempting partial it was so unbelievably uncomfortable I couldn't stand it. I swear some people are much more tolerant of physical discomfort than Iam. It's a good thing I don't have any physical pain because I couldn't deal if that was the case. I can kind handle the extreme emotional pain but physical pain is difficult.

And what do you think to do it in the freezing sea?

Frozen sea is tough but quite reliable I think. I hope to have so valium to do that. Peaceful drowning might be possible?

If the temperature is around 0 degree, it you will die by hypothermia in ~8 min, afaik...
So a peaceful way to die...

I've thought about it but honestly I feel like our body reaction is to try and pull away once we feel the burning pain in our lungs as they fill up with water is something that could take a while. I feel like although it sounds peaceful it really isn't and it'd be painful

It will be extremely bad. Your survival instinct will most likely take you under full control. Also, if the water is warm, you'll feel like your throat is burning.

As far as I know, if you have drowning in your mind, you can possibly try lakes with cold water and swallowing water right after descending under the surface. In cold water, you won't feel that burning effect, as long as you swallow it fast and Intentionally and skip that "fighting for your life" part. I started a topic about such method, but unfortunately nobody replied here (( I am not sure this is 100% reliable, though.

EDIT : oh, I forgot about the main idea of such fast water swallowing. You will pass out very soon and skip all painful parts, as you'll be unconscious

Its a common misconception that cold water is better. Although it drowning works the cold water will extend the time it takes. Cold water induces a hypothermic state. With hypothermia the bodys processes are slowed down. Bradycardia, reduction in repiration, blood flow to vital parts of the body hence if your trying to drown cold water isnt preferable your giving your body more time for that survival instinct to kick in and if possible save yourself (You can die well after the drowning event tho even if you have saved yourself at the time)

With some medical treatments ie surgeries they actually put the persons body in a hyperthermic state in order perform what they need to do.

Either way it is going to be painful as hell, we all know how uncomfortable it is swallowing abit of water in the pool or saliva going down the wrong way and thats only a little bit.

@Shewaitsforme thank you for the heads up ! So, basically, cold water is just better to give you more time and lose consciousness faster.

No if your body is slower to shut down it could take longer to loose consciousness. For instance if you loose conscioisness due to lack of oxygen and rising CO2 in the blood and hypothermia slows the process of cell respiration, breathing rate, heart rate and blood flow around the body then its going to take longer to reach that state of unconsiousness, longer for your body to be aware of whats happening, more chance for the survival instinct to kick in. Its very hard to intentionally drown without outside factors

Changed my plan I will jump into a river no need to go to the sea. I will take my time to find a good spot. Just have 60mg of xanax should be enough? I also add a diving belt with 6kg just in case. (read about Virginia Wolff suicide who added stones in her pocket).

Taking enough pills to pass out and having a bag taped around your head would be a better method. I almost drowned when I was younger and it's terrifying
Wouldn't you pass out before you tie the bag?

I think you are a bit naive on how strong the survival instinct is. After the first breath of water you will be writhing and coughing in pain. It is not possible to control this with your mind.

So back to sanctioned suicide after 2 months in psychic hospital. My doctor prescribed me valium for month which totally fucked up my brain chemistry. Now I have permanent panic attack. Ironically I feel worst then before taking any of theses shitty meds. I still plan to go xanax/alcool/drowning. I will do it in 3 months just when the sea is the hottest (more confortable, fastest deaths). Any advices? I have 45 mg of xanax. My plan is to drink a bit on the sea side, then go for a swim with a little bottle of water with all the xanax inside. I will then drink the bottle in the middle of the sea hope xanax will do the job. Any advices?

Tried to do it by hyperventilating so I loose consciousness and fall into the water in the tub. When I woke up, it burned like a motherfucker all the way up into my sinuses, I threw up and coughed and coughed until there was blood, and I smelled chlorine for hours. Couldnt bring myself to take a load of benzos aI had ready so it would be more peaceful. 0/10 dont reccomend
I think sea would work as long as youre not interrupted (so no jumping from piers or docking points) and the water is around 0 degrees celsius
