I have meto which was highly effective at stopping me from vomiting my guts out when I was super hungover one time (that being said, I had already thrown up a lot). Do you think it would be enough to prevent me from barfing up my SN if I also get tipsy? I just don't want to go out totally sober. Idk if I have the strength for it. And weed highs are typically not great for me, definitely not something I'd want to CTB on. Idk. Thoughts?

Well... my therapist of 3 years just dumped me. I woke up to an email from her about it since I canceled our session. She said it was cuz "Your expressed symptoms of worsening suicidality and self injury are not being managed effectively at your current level of care with me," and that "I won't be willing to continue seeing you without an acceptance on your part to pause and attend IOP, which is the appropriate level of care for you at this time." I've already done IOP. And it helped for a tiny bit of time, only to have the feelings of hope from it fade in less than a month. I don't have the money to do IOP again anyway. Idk. I shouldn't have talked about being suicidal with her. I should have just tried to focus on system stuff, which she was actually very helpful at assisting with. I guess I just have to figure it out alone now. And um... I can't do that. They don't fucking listen to me. And I don't know how to get them to listen without her help. Maybe this is a good thing. Because now there is really nothing left that's going to brighten my mood or ease up on the constant voices screaming at me to CTB. I'll just give in. How I always wanted. I guess.

Alcohol with SN has been asked/discussed several times here. We have accounts on this site of people throwing up even though they took meto, so an antiemetic is not guaranteed to prevent you from vomiting. The risk of vomiting is increased with alcohol consumption especially as you will be drinking it on an empty stomach as part of the SN protocol. While the overall risk of vomiting varies from person to person, doing something that is known to increase the risk of vomiting (ie drinking alcohol) is not a good idea.

It's a horrible combination, it greatly increases the urge to vomit and you give up halfway through.

I tried this a year ago.

To be fair, you are taking poison. Your body is going to protect itself by expelling what it can.

I drank about 400ml of wine to calm myself down and then took the SN. When I took it, I didn't feel nauseous, but after 10 minutes I started wanting to vomit everything, an unstoppable feeling.
Now that I remember this, I'm almost giving up on SN and going after N.

Did you take AE and benzos? Or just alcohol and SN? Were you fasted and took the standard SN dose with the satandard amount of water?
I hope you have not sustained permanent damage (very unusual with SN).

wine affects stomach acidity, and that was 3-4 drinks. I personally was thinking about unflavored alcohol, less than 2 drinks. But that's just me, idk for sure. Also, if you didn't use metos, it's hard to say how much alcohol contributed to the nausea.

True. I hate thattt like dang can't my body love drugs as much as my brain does? Seems like a scam lol.

Yeah I think even that amount of alcohol alone might make me nauseous, especially considering my apparent intolerance to wine. Idk now that I think about it, it's probably a horrible idea since drinking too much in general can make me throw up, and I don't always know when I cross over that vomit threshold. Sucks. Even ket makes me throw up if I take too much, and what a blast it would be to go out on that one.
