Discussion Would drinking alcohol help with SI?

Planning to do hanging but I'm struggling with si , it comes and goes and I was wondering if I drank a little , if it would help me have the courage ?

It didn't help me when I tried partial hanging. I'm not sure SN will work with alcohol 'cause of the nausea. Might cause you to throw up more. I guess the method is pretty important. There was another thread about swimming as far as possible and then getting exhausted and possibly drowning. Something like that might work with alcohol.

Not sure because if you get too drunk, you can be unaware, and it would be more tough hanging. Just be calm really and you going to be really ok.

If you want painless hanging just skip the alcohol and get opioids. Beware that some prescription opioid is strong enough that you just fell asleep and wake up with opioid addiction.

I think it depends on what part of the SI. I think drinking alcohol akd making yourself emotional could help jump from a building. On the other hand it can make you panic during methods that are not near instant.
