Help Would a necktie work for partial hanging

i was wondering if a necktie is good for partial hanging and if so would i make a slipknot with the first end and second end how would i tie it

Technically any ligature could work- I believe the main thing this method requires is either; tenacity, boldness ,an element of impulsivity &/ or overcoming SI in execution of it.

Where are the carotids at i really can't find them and under my jaw in the corner of my neck going up i feel a pulse on both sides and press them and i feel it and nothing happens im just pressing it idk where these arterys are and i really wanna know where the hell are they at the sites corners where?

There should be ALOT of posts on here about it- if u search in search bar for carotid arteries- goodluck. Sorry for no more info- I'm not such an expert :/
