• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

When you're articulate, people take for granted that you'll be able to express how you feel, so when you don't say anything, it must be because you've nothing to say. Actually, it's because I just don't have the words. I'm all out of words.

But even if I did, what is the point? Truly, what is the point? I don't want to hear that talking helps, that it shares the burden, that it lessens the pain. None of that is true. There is no help. The burden is still unbearable, the pain insurmountable. It's just that someone now knows. So what? I don't need an audience.

I guess I'm just weak but I suppose it depends on the response I get as to whether it helps. If it's a truly compassionate response- I do actually feel moved by it and I suppose- slightly better. Just an acknowledgement that it's understandable and OK to feel like I do- because a lot of the time I think we are encouraged to hide 'weakness' and just get on with it- that we are too 'soft' or 'weak' in the first place to be affected by stuff.

There again- you're probably right. Most of the time, it's likely people can't or won't help.

Of course- the other result is someone's reaction being dismissive which doesn't help at all and only makes things worse.

Still- I feel like talking is really all we have. Most people aren't sensitive enough to pick up psychically that there's something wrong. I guess by telling them, they at least get the opportunity to show you they give a shit.

Talking is certainly pointless and doesn't achieve anything, in fact it could likely just make things worse and create more suffering. All words are so empty and meaningless after all and cannot take away the fact that this world is filled with endless pain and misery. At least for me, only death could ever bring relief.

It feels like the words of good people eventually will end up in the wrong mouths
