The first rearview mirror is usually credited to Dorothy Levitt, a British race car driver, in 1909.

She advised women drivers in her book to carry a small hand mirror and use it to see behind them a concept that led directly to the rearview mirror's adoption in cars later.

Canadian-American film actress
star and inventor Florence Lawrence designed an "auto-signaling arm" for turn signals and a mechanical brake signal around 1914, but she did not patent these inventions and received no credit or profit for them. Her innovative designs were precursors to modern turn signals and brake lights, demonstrating her practical and inventive nature, though her contributions have been largely forgotten

So i find it fuckin wild how calling someone a pussy implies they're weak or cowardly, while calling someone a dick suggests they're assertive or dominant. The double standard is baked right into the language.

And sure being called a dick isn't exactly a compliment either. It means you're an asshole. But notice how even THAT still ties back to dominance and aggression.

Men get labeled 'asshole' all the time, and the insult carries this underlying assumption that they're supposed to be harsh, unfeeling, and forceful anyway. It reinforces the same tired expectation on both sides softness is shameful, and cruelty is power..

Anyhow rant over.

SHORTS!!

sorry, but women's shorts are most of the time "too short" because they're not designed for women who actually have extra ass. When you have curves, the fabric gets pulled upward, the back hem lifts, and suddenly the shorts look way shorter than they did on the hanger that's not someone "trying to be a whore," that's just basic fit and anatomy.

And guess what? These are man made designs. The clothing industry is still dominated by men, so guess who's creating these supposedly "revealing" styles? Women aren't the ones driving this "problem" when most major brand executives and designers are men the same men who claim to hate these looks, yet still design them, produce them, and market them to women.

The idea that "women choose revealing clothes" ignores the fact that companies literally decide what's available. Hate me if you want, but that's just the reality 🤷‍♀️

Fuck whats wrong with the fuckin UK Jesus christ just give in to the oppression for the ignorant idea about having to be culturally open,, even if it means your advocating an oppressive cause and recently the Blue Light Hijab, has entered production and it's no longer just a concept or simply a trial piece it is now being implemented into the police workplace for women..
This is a travesty,, but hey we can agree to disagree if you truly believe this isnt oppressive,, okay,, thats on you,,anyway.

The Blue Light Hijab was conceived by Yassin Desai. He first identified the need for a safe, operational hijab for Muslim female officers about 20 years ago, when he was working in policing as a detective sergeant at Leicestershire Police but only since 2022 did the project gain momentum through formal collaboration with DMU designers

2022, he teamed up with designers at De Montfort University Leicester
specifically with Dr Angela Davies an Associate Professor in Textile and Garment Technology at De Montfort University Leicester, and technician Kay Radford helped to develop a new hijab design.

Woo blantant oppression,,,,,
no fuck you yassin,, you are a creep if seeing as how this was such a "must" for you,, sick fuck.

But hey doesnt that sounds sooo cool
I mean lets all wear a hijab that has even undergone "wearer trials" omg!
and even combat testing, woo wee,, and multiple design iterations to ensureee safety, comfort, MODESTY and compatibility with policing equipment,, yumm 💀...

The first adopters are officers at Leicestershire Police, as it was developed for them.

But the announcement states that "police forces and emergency services across the UK" have already begun placing orders.

There's also interest from paramedics, the National Health Service (NHS), and some private sector employers suggesting the hijab may be adopted more widely than just policing uniforms.

The product is being manufactured in the UK
(for the first time under this design) thanks to DMU setting up
"UK based production
specifically for the Blue Light Hijab."

The hijab is offered as an option for Muslim female officers and frontline workers who wish to wear it as UK police uniforms already allow certain religious dress items
(like hijabs or turbans)
if they meet safety and operational standards.

The Blue Light Hijab is just a safer, quick‑release version it doesn't replace other approved hijabs no no so idk dont worry I guess,
but personally id worry with it even being encouraged,, but hey hey
Officers can still wear traditional versions if they "PREFER"

Making it mandatory would likely require a formal change to national police uniform regulations,
"which hasn't been announced"
it might never be mandated, but it also just might givin how its goin so far.

I do not support brainwashed women nor do I support corrupted men.
