I want to qualify that I truly believe most people can turn their lives around.
I don't want to be dismissive of what people go through but I think that it's possible to overcome struggles that are primarily internal, or otherwise in the past.
I definitely don't believe people should be forced to live, but neither do I think it should have to be our job to kill them, if it makes sense. That should be their choice.
I actually have a wonderful relationship right now, so it's not exactly like I think I would use it myself, but I can't help but think there aren't many rationalizations to keep on living,
if you are poor, transgender, and non passing. You will always be seen as a freak by society and everyone around you for the most part.
Genuinely as a non passing trans woman the only opportunity for community seems to be in mutual prostitution.
The effectiveness of our healthcare is both wildly dismissed by cis people and wildly exaggerated by other trans people desperately coping.
People definitely won't treat you as a man, or a woman, or even as a human. There is no way to appeal yourself to most people.
You begin to have "X ray vision" where you see everyone for the uncomfortable flesh they are underneath. You don't really even envy cis people, only their bodies.
Until medical transition becomes much more researched and effective, it doesn't feel humane to force people to live this way.
Ironically, the only way this would come to pass is likely as a method to get rid of all transgender people.
The notion that the world would ever extend even an ounce of sympathy to transgender people is nothing but fantasy.
So all I can do is pray that God will help preserve transgender womens hearts here on earth and then heal them in heaven.
