Do you care about people you know finding your posts on here after you catch the bus or will you try to cover and delete everything?

I personally wouldn't really mind, given it could perhaps give family more answers they might be looking for after seeing day to day posts.

No. I think it would only hurt them, not help. I don't run the risk of being identified. Maybe I'll just change my username since we can't delete accounts. Undecided on that.

nah, it doesn't really matter to me. everyone around me already knows my desire to CTB and my philosophical opinions, so they wouldn't find anything new here.

my main concern is the police though, since I'd like to avoid drawing attention to the site and it getting blamed (although, the site already has its fair share of attention and blame anyway). I've done what I can to prevent that, but if they're determined to find evidence of me using the site, they'll find it.

No I don't think so, it's because of this site I've changed how I want to close the book. I would want anyone who happened to find this site and my account to know and appreciate that it gave me a more peaceful option

I thankfully don't really need to worry about anyone finding my account, as I've only got about 3 people irl who are aware of my existence. If any of them were to find it, they'd just get some additional lore on my life is all. I'll likely not leave behind a note or anything, so my postings on this forum could almost count as a note.

To be honest I think I care more about making sure I let people on here know what method I use and if it works. That will be my minuscule contribution to help those who are at a point where ctb-ing is the only option to ctb more peacefully in this fucked up society that makes ctb-ing very challenging.

A few days before I ctb, I think I will make a post here but then I will log out, delete the saved passwords, etc, so even if the cops (or whoever) wanted to find anything, it will be difficult.

Not tech savvy enough to delete all tracks so my account might be found during the investigation but I don't care due to already being dead when it'll happen and not needing privacy anymore, and I seriously doubt it matters. All suicides are censored where I live due to the fear it might create a contagion effect so it will all be recorded in the statistics and then forgotten which I appreciate because my life is embarrassing.

I will delete all history related to this site (I don't want to bring trouble here) and a lot of my general data, but not everything so it won't look too sus. I don't want them to feel guilty (even though they do have their share in my wish to ctb). Also, I don't want them to know "who I really am", I'm gonna take it to the grave and no one IRL will ever know.

I wouldn't care if people find my posts afterwards. The only thing I'm worried about as other people have commented, is the potential negative implications for this website. I really think this website is such a great thing and would not want others to not have it, so I will ensure no traces (delete browser history etc).

No. I don't care if people I know find my posts on here. A couple of people that I am very close to know that I am suicidal and they already know my reasons. They are the only ones whose opinion matters to me.

In the small chance that someone else comes on here and looks for my posts, I haven't really posted anything too personal about my life or what my reasons are so they wouldn't be able to say for certain if it was me or not.

Same here, I just want to be forgotten and such will happen regardless of who I was as an individual, be it in 10 years or 10,000 years it makes no difference. One of my biggest issues with humanity is it's shortsightedness. Everyone tends to blow things out of proportion and they all have main character syndrome. Hate to break it to people but that just isn't the case, none of us are special and all of us end up in the same place.

Choosing to get out of this existence early means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things and if a couple porn videos from back when I still had a sex drive pop up or some posts on this site show up so what?

I went along with this illusion as long as I could and the diminishing returns piled up until debt became a reality and the hole just keeps getting larger whether it be financial or emotional debt.

I know people who have deluded themselves into thinking that god is running their lives, others who worship paper money as their lord and savior, some who enjoy tearing others down to their level because misery loves company, and everything in between and none of them are special.

Neither am I, neither are you who are reading this, neither are the aliens who find and comb through this data a million years from now.

Yes, I'd hide that I'd been on this site. It receives a lot of backlash and I think everyone has the right to CTB if it's their time to do so. I don't want my death to be used potentially by people who severely abused me (my birth family if they ever find out unlikely as I'm estranged from every single one of them) as a scapegoat. I have bpd and c-ptsd because of those tossers. This site is my secret safe sanctuary. I don't want anyone to know I've used it when I go so I'll be erasing all traces. If it helps no one loves or cares about me and I'm unwanted so no one has to worry about me becoming a news story.
