Will the noose knot come undone under load?

A sturdy, quite complex knot for FSH hasn't been constricting for me, so I'm looking into new knots. What I'm worried about is the simplicity of the noose knot, it's basically just an overhand knot with the long end of the rope passed through. Overhand knots aren't super secure so I'm afraid of it coming undone. Does anyone have experience with these types of knots?

If a noose knot could be undone once people are hanging, hanging wouldn't be such an effective method (especially full suspension hanging).

The hangman's noose is quite different from the overhand knot. The overhand knot is a basic know that's not really used for hanging to my knowledge. The hangman's noose is a more reliable option, as the knot gets sturdier the more times the rope is wrapped around upper loop. There is a simple guide on 101knots.

The hangman's noose doesn't constrict and was meant to break the neck with long drop hanging. Most people go for asphyxiation hanging and the hangman's noose is not suitable for this. Instead you need a constricting knot which is where various slipknots come into play, including the noose knot.
