Hello. I've had no success in purchasing either N or SN. I'm wondering on the success of using industrial mice/rat poison as ctb method....any wise words to offer be appreciated. Had considered various prescription and OC drugs and alcohol also.

You would need a lot. These creatures are very small. Probably not a great method.

Its known to be extremely painful and slow as well. Not recomended

Yes it will be very painful ... U will definitely end up in the hospital with organ damage

My father told me once that when he was working at shop there was placed rat poison and one day he heared terrible rat screaming. Apparently it sears/dries rats from water so they don't decay. I don't think it is peaceful way to die.
