Are you in an urban area? I wonder if there is a specific type of massage that might help. You'd probably have to commit to it often. A really good acupuncturist might offer something, but I've read they need to be deeply educated in the work, maybe more than most acupuncturists. Also, an osteopath that takes the DO part of their work seriously. So many DOs just want to be like MDs and put away the special education they receive in their med school. All of this would require access to a progressive urban environment.
I also wish I could take the pain away. I worked as a healer at one time and had great success with animals. Occasional success with humans. A gifted healer could help as well, but there is the matter of finding that person. I met one in LA who did a lot of good for me, years ago. They are out there, and their hands can do wonders. Also long distance healing. I had a friend named Lovey who was a remarkable healer. She lived almost a 1000 miles from me, but I knew when she was working on me. The truly gifted healers I have met were all humble, quiet, and for the most part, self-taught. They did not study at the various schools that are around. They were helping people feel better when they were six years old.
