You're kidding, right? To me it sounds like "if hiring a private jet or buying first class tickets can make your travel so much better, then why do people fly economy class, I can't understand".

my guess SN is easy to obtain in some areas and inexpensive. Not fool proof but many have CTB with it successful so it has merit.
