why is the search function on sasu broken

The username might not appear in the username search cus of their account being banned (self or by mods.) in this instance you need to spell the name exactly correct.

Ohh, sorry. I just found the site and read the welcoming text for new members. Thought the poster was as fresh as me

The search function doesn't search usernames. You'll only get a result if someone has mentioned their username in a post (e.g. by quoting it in a reply).

To search members by name, go to the hamburger menu at top left -> Members -> Members hamburger menu -> Find member and start typing a name.
