Accessibility. Even with the sn crack down the past few years. It's still more accessible, cheaper, and on this site there's a guide ready made. N would probably be more popular if it's still obtainable. So would cyanide even if it's painful way to go.

Is there really a good way to go? I mean nothing is a "sure thing".

because it is easy to get and the PPeH mentions it, which is the bible for suicidal people IMO

Considering how supposedly ubiquitous fentanyl deaths are recently, you'd think whoever updates the PPeH would add a section for Fent.

Funny no one mentions the Final Exit book here.

Like most people said, accessibility. If I could get some I would use it in a heartbeat. Definitely not a bad way to go. It's not to easy to find and even dealers a re wary of selling it bc of the amount of ods.

SN is definitely not a good way to go but that's the most reliable method for poisoning and also the most accessible. That's the only reason why it's the most popular.

I've heard pretty ubiquitously that fentanyl isn't that hard to acquire but at the same time I've never had a foot in that world, of drugs and crime. I can order SN on the clearweb and the worst the police can do is confiscate it, as it's not illegal to possess. Fentanyl however...

It surprises me too that intentional opioid/opiate overdose isn't mentioned more as a suicide method. I know a lot of former fent users. The problem is none of them would tell me their contacts.

Personally it would be easier to get a gun than to get fent, and SN is also legal where I am. At least for now.

Plus I am afraid that I'll be found too early and revived with Narcan. At least with SN, it won't be so obvious what I took and it shouldn't be as easy to revive me. That could be wishful thinking on my part though.

Lastly, if I do survive I don't want to get addicted to fent. Might be a weird reason, but it's tragic seeing how addiction ruins lives, not just their own but everyone around them, and I don't want that to be my life. I already have enough going on!

Speaking of Cyanide, I'm reminded of Michael Marin - he took Cyanide in the courtroom and went down pretty quick (8 minutes post-ingestion). The link is to his Wiki though his death can be seen on Youtube. I'll never forget the noises, and on rewatch it seems his noises have since been muted. Uncontrolled nasal honking as he collapsed.

He was facing 20+ years for arson.

Moments after the verdict, he went for it:

i saw a couple? cyanide deaths caught on cctv. i chatted with a person looking for it. it seems really easy to make. i did not share the link as to how it is made because i had also read that it is a painful way to go. the cases i saw were rather quick. in the cctv vids, they seemed to grab their stomach and a few seconds later fell to the ground. is that too good to be true?

It's painful, but it's quick, yes. With the Marin case, when the cyanide hits, he kind of keels over onto one of his lawyers, and then he falls to the ground and is in convulsions. Even with near immediate EMS, he was gone.

In many Cyanide cases, there's also foaming at the mouth.

If that was all I had, at this point, I'd use it. It's painful, but a lot quicker than SN, which is what I'll be using.

Notable/notorious case:

Jonestown - A&E discussion with Marcus Parks of the podcast 'The Last Podcast On The Left'

Excerpt:

On November 18, 1978, cult leader Jim Jones orchestrated a suicide of 918 followers in the jungles of Guyana at their settlement, Jonestown. The mass death relied heavily on cyanide-laced Flavor Aid, with followers lining up to drink the lethal poison.

A&E True Crime spoke with Marcus Parks—whose podcast "The Last Podcast on the Left" ran a five-part, 10-hour special on Jonestown—to learn more about the last fateful hours of the men, women and children who died that tragic day.

Tell us a little bit about what it feels like to die by cyanide poisoning. Is it painless?

It's horrifying. It is not in any way a painless death. The deaths in Jonestown took anywhere between five and 20 minutes. First, your entire body starts to convulse. Then your mouth fills with a mixture of saliva, blood and vomit. Then you pass out, and then you die. Your body is deprived of oxygen completely. It's a horrific death.

Did you know that more people overdose on prescription pain killers, than heroin, cocaine and methamphetamine. And the numbers are almost level with fentanyl. *USA.

Why combine it with a gun if you can get pure fenty? Pure fenty OD you just go to sleep and never wake up.
fentanyl is way easier to get where I am in the US than SN
Not sure a out that. I ordered SN from two sources just recently using my phone from the couch and it was delivered to my door no issues. Not gonna happen with Fent.
