why is it so hard to starve to death

it's so difficult. she doesn't understand. i look gross and i wish i had the courage to starve myself to death but it is one of the hardest ways to go. she won;'t let me starve.

Life doesn't kill itself by stopping eating. No living being can switch this "off". It will always cause a lot of pain.

I heard monks starved themselves to death via faith, and by eating pine cones and bark, though then again they are monks, they have trained their entire life for that, starving to death isn't peaceful

To me starvation sounds like such an unbearable way to try and die that sounds incredibly difficult to succeed with, trying to attempt this just sounds like it would lead to way more suffering unfortunately, I hate how suicide is so difficult.

Can't be done, your Metabolism will just slow down to almost nothing, you'd have to be extremely anorexic for a long time, which would then weaken your heart >>> see singer Karen Carpenter
