Story time, so I'm 40 and well spent most of my life alone. I've had depression almost all my life with a ton of social anxiety to throw into the mix. I spent the past decade really trying to change things. Talking to psychologist's and psychiatrists, both had their usefulness's. Over the past two years my life has changed massively volunteering, a job changed to the point I even got into university. The people who helped me and said they would support me, who's help is still needed to stay in university. Now one (A) is making it as difficult as they can for me to keep my place. See for university I needed a sponsor and reference and she (A) suggested herself first, but because I was already getting help from her colleague I asked them. They couldn't because of other commitments.
Now her (A) ideas and suggesting's now seem designed for me fail or quit. Her colleague is still helping me but (A) has some serious misinformation thinking me and her colleague are meeting when were not, we sent 3 emails (her work email) over 3 hours, yes we talked about meeting and decided it wasn't needed 2 weeks ago.
But (A) still questioning if I'm meeting her colleague and questioned my response to that too.
So today I felt i had to messages her (A) colleague saying I won't me needing her help (I still do) and because times an issue, saying thanks for all the help but probably wont see each other.

With (A) we spoke quite a bit about my past and I said growing up the thought of dying that was the only happiness I had, to what now makes/made me happy. (A) has taking most of that away and then started in person and emails says, do what makes you happy do what brings you happiness.

That's kind of what brought me back to the site.

Welcome back. If there are things you do want to do first (like finish college, work your job, etc), I would try to pursue them while they still appeal, if they do. There's nothing wrong with that especially if you'll have regrets otherwise. I'm not sure what to make of your coworker but I'd say try to not let her get to you since it sounds like you have better people in your life. It's unfortunate you had/have to rely on her. I think it's a good idea to remove her from your life where you can and see how it goes. Think things through more, it sounds like the effort you put in did do something and it seems a shame to let her ruin it. That said it's up to you what you'll do and what you feel is best for you, best wishes whatever you decide to do going forward.

It sounds like you have been suffering for a long time, I'm sorry that you are in this situation. It sounds stressful what you are going through, this life can be so exhausting. I wish you the best in whatever happens.

Thanks, Jul the boss therefore has a lot of influence and control. Honestly motivation wise I just said goodbye to the last person, the first person who made me push myself in the hopes it might smooth's things over with her boss because otherwise I'm basically screwed.

Thanks, I thought I had things worked out then I seemed to have picked the wrong person and since then its went downhill.
