Anything to do with pills or drinking substances is liable to being sick, I'd guess that's a big factor.

I think they main reason is getting it prescribed. Depending on where you live it's more or less easily accessible.

Amitriptyline is a Tricyclic antidepressant, and TCAs are pretty fatal in OD, so they are usually only prescribed for a weeks amount, which would require some time to stockpile them. Id chalk it up to other methods being better and not so much of a pain in the ass cus doctors try not to prescribe TCAs too much
