Many people believe you should keep living because in the end everything will go well. But is that really true, and how do they know everything will be ok in the future? Is irrational optimism a coping mechanism of most humans? I heard that many times, even from psychologists, or therapists. Everything will be fine in the future, so there is no reason to kill yourself. Not just that it gets better, but that actually everything will be good. Many people think life will have an happy end for them. But this is far from the reality. Even i have a small irrational hope that everything will be fine. Is this a survival mechanism that humans have, so we dont kill ourself in masses?
