This topic has been weighing on my mind heavily recently. Why are so many people so awful? I made a couple of posts a few days ago about how I've recently been getting contacted by men that I went to school with on social media trying to get sexual with me immediately. What they were doing was basically contacting me trying to get me to meet up with them for sex immediately. When I made a post asking why they would do this, the responses that made the most sense was that they don't know anything about me, so they are trying to see if I would go for the bare minimum bullshit.
I just personally don't understand why people are like this. And don't even give me the "well that's just them being horny," bs because there are plenty of people who get horny who don't need to treat people that way. If they are that desperate for sex, why not contact a professional for sex? And also many of them have exes and baby mothers, so why are you trying to take advantage of a random girl?
Idk it just makes me sick. I had to block all of them, but it just blows my mind that this is how people act in the big 2026 and I'm expected to just treat this as "normal." It really makes me upset, like yes I get it I'm just ignoring it obviously, but these kind of things just make me lose hope in ever finding decent humans to bond with in this lifetime. Tbh, I shouldn't even be that surprised about how low they act, because they are the same people who acted weird towards me in school, and I just never connected with them, or felt any kind of good vibe from them. I guess I just expected for them to have some kind of adult maturity/decency when they reached out to me again, but perhaps I just shouldn't always expect that.
If this is the norm, then I don't understand how average people even connect with these people. I feel like I'm way too sensitive for all of this, I just want to be with good and decent people, and it makes me miss my dead boyfriend a lot. I just had to get this off my chest because it's very disheartening to me. This has really been bothering me recently, It's hard to find good people nowadays, but it shouldn't be this hard to find decent people. I wonder what exactly goes through these peoples heads.
