I did a few dress rehearsals for tourniquet and wow, it is so much easier on paper. If I ordered some SN, then while it would be scary as all hell (for me and whoever finds me), but it would be relatively painless. I have somewhat low blood pressure and orthostatic hypotension so it would probably be even quicker than 20mins.
But tourniquet... tightening it is a very direct act of harm against oneself. It's somewhat frightening being one turn away from lights out. I don't know how to push through the survival instinct and avoid the pain. Has anyone considered tourniquet but can't quite do it for similar reasons, not for the inability to do the compression properly? Or experiencing similar attitudes towards other methods eg hanging.
