I can't talk to any of my friends about this. We have a mutual friend who committed suicide a few years ago and it affected us all deeply. I don't want to scare or worry them. They have their own problems.
I'm not really close to my family. I don't want to bring any of them down or end up in an argument.
I don't have any money to spend on professional mental health care right now. I have a doctors appointment at a free clinic in my area soon and I'll ask if they know of any resources, but if not I'll have to go without.

If i'm broke how can I speak to anyone about this without bringing them down too?

If you'd like, you can message me and vent. I know it's not the same as talking to someone in real life, but chatting or making a post about it might help. People on here are very supportive anytime I post about my own issues.
Also I get it, I really can't stand when everyone says "just talk about it :)" like ok who then? I feel like people who say this are so out of touch. What if I'm surrounded by people who make me hate myself or I have parents that don't believe in mental health?

Hi.
First of all I'll just say you are very considerate and kind of you to think of your friends and family even while you are going through this. It's hard to do so alone, but it's true that sometimes friends and family might not be the best options. Ideally yes, but I can understand the concern.
you might find reading this helpful, maybe one of the listed you think could be good for you
if not, in any case, there are suicide hotlines you can call, specially if you find yourself in a risky or crisis moment, but also pretty much any time, and they are good to vent some stuff verbally, even if you are not looking for particular solutions, which they sometimes provide and sometimes not, sometimes they hang up on you :P

but finally what I could recommend most tho, it's probably this site. It is just a very good place to vent freely and without judgement about this. People here relate and are really nice, you'd see that, often giving advice from actual experience which, sure this isn't in any way substitute to actual therapy, let me be clear I hope you manage to get that or similar above all, but the relatability and warmth here helps. So you can vent in posts, make friends here if you want, there's a recovery partners thread and a make a friends one too, and just speak your heart out if you think that might help you.
The site has the risk of bringing you down, but if you use it wisely you can get a lot of positive out of it, I'd stick to the recovery section for good advice and positivity.

that's all, hope this helped. On an unrelated note your pfp is cracking me up. Big hugs your way <3
