Me too since 2 weeks ago especially, I left my job in the U.K. to move home and prepare to CTB.
But I was always lonely and isolated, and if someone tried to get closer to me I fucked up intentionally ..

I was just thinking: last year at this time, I used to be a person. Now? I'm a shell. No friends calling me up, a job I am ill suited for (and an ironic job for a suicidal person) and I don't even leave the house much. Live with some family though, and they treat me like I'm a plague, which I feel like I am.

Ret,
Best thing will be to try to get your own place.
Maybe a room mate of some kind?
It will at least relieve SOME of the problem.
My family is the same way.
I feel ya.

Also only family for me it sucks I see myself as a introvert extrovert. explanation; As a child and teenager I loved to hang out with friends and be social but as an adult I have lost all my friends and social life so time has forced me to become introvert against my own will.

Does anybody else like to be lonely because they know no better? Most people are exhausting to deal with and everytime I encounter social gatherings with extroverts I'm reminded why I keep my distance. I hate being isolated but at the same time it's probably best. Some people are just different and there's nothing wrong with that.

Yes. I don't have the energy for that. I often feel horribly alone but if I put myself into a social setting I would appear so sick, awkward and feel such anxiety. I like the idea of socializing with people but I cannot participate.

I'm out there all the time. Working, driving, going to stores, the mall. But I'm still all alone. All those people and none of them even dare to try with me.

It feels like a badge of honor. I used to think it was they thought I wasn't good enough. Now I think it's because they're too scared. I'm a real freak of nature. Walk faster than everyone else and have to wear two sets of sunglasses on top of each other just to be able to stand the horrible lighting, but I'm out there.

It's a test. I'm testing to see who shall dare to cross the line. None have and none likely will. And if they do, I'll probably just growl at them.

I'm 35. On SSI due to anxiety and depression. I use to have friends in my teens and 20s. I also been divorced for 4 years. The isolation didn't happen all at once. It was gradual.

That would be me, except I have a job.

Minimal social interaction with any colleagues though, never attend work functions, just keep to myself. Have to communicate with a number of guests at work each day which is fine as it's not really on any personal level. Just answering questions or pointing them in the right direction.

I do talk to my dog but after 5 years she is yet to reply. Should have bought a parrot.

Being isolated is what I love. I hate people. I hate everything about them. If for some reason I don't get to ctb, I will go deep into the woods just to get away from people.

I know it sounds odd, but I am currently having trouble recognising the reality of other Beings.

I can designate a perceptual object/ as being a particular 'person' and associate this object with particular subjective affects in my consciousness. But I have no understanding of the independent reality of that person's Being and what value I should place on it. To me, it is just a perceptual configuration.

It is like the ego and its perception is drilling into reality and throwing up random configurations, and I am seeing everything through a transparent tunnel. However, I don't really have any clue as to what is going on outside my virtual tunnel. Quite a frightening state of mind.

Apologies for the ramble.

well i guess i'm not completely socially isolated because i have a job and i'm friendly with co-workers there, although i'm not close friends with any of them and only see them as i transition out-of or into my shift. but i work at night completely alone and barely see people, when i do it's for 2 minutes at most. and then i come home and sit in my bed, again alone. all alone. i'm alone right now obviously.

i've posted this before but i'm so fucking lonely and yet i do basically nothing to try and connect with people. i just don't have the 'spirit' in me any more to make the effort. nothing ever works, it never gets better, blah blah blah

I have hibernated the last 3 years, compared to what I used to be like... a crazy cat
I have two young kids that attend school, I also study which means I have to have some social interaction... but any offer of social interaction, other than what's expected, in front of people, subject to judgement, no way will I be there.
For me studying is a release, in class i am the clown often making jokes (not that that is hard to do, with the bunch I study with), at home, assessments take my mind off everything else in life, I don't think of the f****d up shit.

But In general, I'm sitting at home alone, pondering life and it's worth..

Aside from cashiers and post office workers delivering packages, I haven't spoken to anybody face to face in months. I live alone, and even on the internet I only ever communicate with strangers to discuss the viability of various suicide methods.
