Which comforting item would you pick?

I won't share my story its too sad but it's time to go pretty soon! My situation cant be fixed. I want a comforting item to hold when I go alone. What would you choose?

I will probably wear my brother's rugby shirt. It's 30 years old, my sister in law sent it to me when she was going through his clothes and personal stuff. I'll also have my Ipod and ear buds so that I can listen to my favorite tunes

I think it is so sweet of you that you still remember about him/her. Even if you do this in such not very socially acceptable way.

I've also collected a huge selection of quotes, passages, and verses, on suicide and death, some of which I've printed out. I've yet to choose the one which will give me the greatest strength in those final moments though.

I had lots of items in my life that supposed to make me happier, at least a little bit, but none of them. I think would be the best for me to be someone around, I mean not just a stranger, but someone who really thinks about you.

I have a teddy bear I was given when I started preschool. My mother gave it to me as a comfort item (I was a very anxious kid.) It was her bear as well so it has a lot of sentimental value. That's what I'm going to hold.

I am the biggest couch potato, so I would want to cover myself with this blanket.



I have a lot of other cozy clothes, but I'm imagining myself wearing a long, white dress when I CTB. I'm thinking something like Natalie Portman's dress in Black Swan. My mother has told me I look like in angel in all white. Even though she won't find me, she will be in my thoughts. I imagine it being very beautiful.

I have a pillow that I hug when I sleep because of my perpetual loneliness. Death is just a sleep I won't wake up from, so I'll probably hug that pillow as I go. I might listen to some music as I go, no idea which songs though.
