Where should I ctb so my parents don't have to see my corpse but I will still be found?

To be honest I'd be more comfortable at my own apartment but a friend of mine casually mentioned that her mother once saw a suicide corpse and that fucked her up and I don't want that to happen whomever would find me if I were to die in my own apartment... I have thought about dying in my car but there's also the fact thst I want to be found so my parents don't need to live without knowing whether I am dead or alive after I disappear. I know it sounds stupid because they are going to see me dead at some point but still. Any ideas? I live in a somewhat small city so "hiding" there isn't hard.

Hotels are hot spots for suicides. That's what I plan on doing. I've come across some threads regarding this subject. You should be able to find them using the search function.

And I don't think it's stupid @ all. I think about them finding my body & frantically trying to resuscitate me... Sounds more traumatizing to me than just having to identify my body.

I've thought about that but my parents and most I know would still open that door and try to do whatever they can

I live in a small city and thought about driving just outside city limits at night to an open comfortable spot I know,and doing it.Not too far out,so I will be found.Just not right away.Depends on your method,how long will it take? I know you don't want to be discovered or interrupted.

I'm pretty sure that any parent seeing that kind of note on one of their children's door would just knock the door down.

I was thinking of getting a hotel that had that little hallway leading to the bed area setup, and covering that with a blanket/sheet from the ceiling until it touches the floor, and a note attached that says "don't come in, call police" or something so the staff doesn't get negatively affected either.

I don't think that the same. In a funeral they clean you up, apply makeup and inject you with stuff to make you look more "alive". Discovering the body, can be slightly to way more gruesome depending on the method. Also, at the funeral they already know you've passed, there's no initial shock or anything.

Yeah, and the setting is totally different. One is way more traumatizing than the other.

I would say hotel but position yourself so they won't see you as they walk in, and leave a note for them to call the police. also make sure it is a chain hotel so the staff will be able to get support, and the business won't be ruined.
