I don't have family, so it's not a factor for me, but I can see why this would be a good idea for people with family members at home with them

I have my lostplace where I wanted to die first but then I changed my plans on the method and I decided to go to a hotel too. It's definitely better than keeping my body falling apart in an place where no one can find me : P

I'd love to walk out into my local forest and take SN there but due to my disabilities now I can't walk very far so for me the best place I have where I won't be found is my own bed. Not so beautiful but I won't care when I'm dead
