• Hey Guest,

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

This title particularly and shorly speaks of the anti natalists, who proclaim
"to prevent human suffering"
Shouldnt it be a fight to prevent human suffering through actions and not restrictions i.e not having kids?
Shouldnt we do as the previous generations and topple the regimes that lead us to become unhappy?
Why give up.
I know the irony writing that here, and i do admit that i am not apart of any "fights" but i believe at the very least that is a stupid argument.

I tend to think anti-natilism is often more of a philosophy- rather than a cause people are actively fighting for. A little like pro-mortalism. How many pro- mortalists actually would go about killing every living creature? Even if it were easier/ had no repurcusions?

To inflict our beliefs on others also means we are willing to ignore/ overide their right to choose. I think anti-natilist people can also lean towards being pro- choice.

Plus- we probably realise how unrealistic it is that we could even stop every living being from breeding. Presumably- anti- natilism would need to extdnd to the animal world- to prevent their suffering too?

Im not saying that one has to fight for anti natalism to be one.
im just saying that Youre just bending over to the people who fucked your life up.
"give up, rope and have no kids"
Versus
challenge decapitate and fix.
its just a human thing of the comfort in the west.
But im one of these nothing burgers who do nothing, atleast i can cope and say i am not an anti natalist.

"anti natalism" is a movement.
And you did nothing by write "unrealistic" of anti natalism, im not even going to explain myself and waste my precious finger energy.

Its like the worlds biggest circle jerk about complaining about your parents,
when 90% of the shit pale in comparison to what 3rd worlders go through.
