I don't know how accurate the test I took is since I took a test on the internet instead of talking with a professional (do psychologists/psychiatrists even test MBTI? Not sure) but I remember getting INTP.

Just completed a test on the 16 personalities website out of curiosity. ENTP-T Was the outcome.

Most of it i can correlate with my general personality, however I do think when in the throws of a depressive episode, I could skew your viewpoint when answering the questions.

....I have no fucking idea (I hate the letter dichotomy model of MBTI and go by cognitive functions.) I could be an incredibly unhealthy INTJ (Ni-Te-Fi-Se) with over-reliance on Fi, likely because I just withdrew into myself ever since joining this forum, but I have no idea tbh. I can view myself both in descriptions for Fi and Fe users. I think I used to score higher Fe before becoming a complete hermit, so being an INFJ (Ni-Fe-Ti-Se) probably isn't off the table.

The test I used: https://mistypeinvestigator.com/

With these I always get INFP. I remember from another one of these threads someone showed a pie chart of percentage of people who are suicidal who are of different personality types and INFP was the biggest percentage tho in that thread the image can't load now.

esfj!! i had a major typology phase LMAO so i use cognitive functions; my dominant ones are FeSe (extroverted feeling + extroverted sensing). typically an esfj is considered FeSi (extroverted feeling + introverted sensing) but with the model i go by both are considered esfj

INFP or INFJ. I'm pretty sure the difference between the P and J was nearly 50/50 last time I took it. Like 49% - 51% so I might as well be both of them.

INTJ based on cognitive functions. Strong Fi owing to my Enneagram 4 wing (5w4).

Introverted intuitives (INXX) tend to be overrepresented on online forums in general.

mind sharing what makes you depressed? if u are ok with sharing that is. was it due to high expectations and hope
The reasons people are depressed are very complicated I think. For me personally it IS a combination of high expectations and a million other things. I get the best out of people, and the worst out of myself. People who don't know me would never expect I am suicidal. I think even in my happiest, most elated moments, if a genie asked me if I wish to have never existed, I would say yes. I would say im a pretty classic ENTJ and it makes my depression very confusing. The best way I could describe it is apathetic. I did CBT with a therapist when I was younger, and part of it was learning to control negative self talk, I filled out hundreds of these sheets with examples of thoughts I would have about myself through the day. He said he had never seen so many before. I am extremely aware of the self inflicted nature of my depression and suicidal thoughts, but I cant help it. When I was happy, I was less productive. I know it seems counter intuitive but this is the worst I have ever felt and I have never been so consistent at the gym, or on top of my studies, or reading more books. I have a pact with myself that if I stop improving or at least trying to get better, then ill kill myself. This kind of turned into a rant and I don't even know if it answered your question lol, but thanks for reading! I'm happy to answer any questions, talking about suicide/depression for me is like talking about the weather, I don't really "open up" I'm an open book from the start.

interesting

its pretty cool u can channel these energy into doing and completing things

thats what i know about the entjs i know (although not a lot so its not generalizable ofc and everyone is unique) (they have self hate but are quite disciplined 🤣🤣🤣)

entjs are pretty rare in general thats why i find it interesting

do you think most entjs are depressed? 🤣

rant away my friend! i like these kind of talks haha

its very hard to get people to open up like these in real life

" I have a pact with myself that if I stop improving or at least trying to get better, then ill kill myself"

u are indeed too hard on urself though.

sometimes i wonder whether these mbti urges, (in ur case have a pact with urself with high expectations), are more biological or more childhood caused

for your case which is it?

Seems this graph came from someone who just searched up a list of suicides on Wikipedia and then typed them by MBTI, doesn't seem very robust.

Though I find this study and it came to the same conclusion about INFPs.

Nice to know INFPs are the best at something, at least 🥲

Just did the test and got ENFP. A few years ago I always got INFP and a few times even INTP. But honestly no surprise that it ticked me as a extrovert this time. I actually changed a lot lol.

They say you can change types over your life. I take it every 10 years just to see what I get.
