I listened to this song alot when my mother passed. I think the old footage is of the guy who was obsessed with bjork and eventually killed himself.

I used to have a whole suicide playlist on Apple Music before I canceled my subscription. A little bit of Leonard Cohen, Elliott Smith, Joy Division, and some other obscure joints. When I find the playlist I'll update with the songs I had.

I think the Doors "The End" was mentioned, rightfully so.

Here's another track that's got some heaviness to it.

My friend and I had this joke that it must have always been a toss up how to close a Doors set -The End or When the Musics Over!

When I sit down and really absorb the lyrics I have to stop myself from crying because it makes me think about leaving my wife and my family. He's accepted the fact that he will die soon and he's so matter-of-fact about logistics of his property etc. After his death, much like many of us are I imagine.
