What’s your alternative afterlife preference?

This is mainly a question for the people who have a desired afterlife outcome in mind for what will happen after they die, but people who don't believe in any kind of afterlife are free to answer too.

If the main outcome you hope for/believe in couldn't come true for some reason (this includes the outcome of absolute nothingness in the case of atheism), then what would you prefer as an alternative?

For me, my main hope is that I'll finally reunite with the person I love the most in a "heaven" of sorts. It's kind of convoluted and I won't go into detail, but yeah. But if that can't come to pass for whatever reason, then I hope I instead get to be a little white cat with blue eyes who gets to wander outer space for all eternity. Just me, my rules, my peace, forever.

I wish there was a heaven where I could just relax. There's not, though. There's either nothing or hell.

I'd like to hear a smooth voice telling me "this is your home, you can rest now, everything is OK, I'm proud of you". And seeing my grandmother who respected me so much. Really great woman (she suffered a lot too during his poor life). Just love and respect. I don't need more.

If I keep my consciousness after death I'd like an option to see what's going on on earth. There's some people I actually would like to not leave entirely if I could, I'd at least like to be able to see how they're doing when I have to go.

i only want Non-existence forever . and i know that's what will happen 1 micro-second after Death. so me a small animal no different from a fish wishing , thinking something different other than reality happens won't affect anything .

even the simplest task requires some thought or planning from my brain and then action with these hands. wishing hoping thinking that something is done or happens by magic is not going to make it happen. and to me no one is going to do anything for me for free. even if i want to stop my thirst i know i have to get up and get water and drink it. thinking or wishing without getting up off the couch and walking finding the water drinking it getting a glass etc only these hands can or will do it. why would anything esle be different especially some abstract meaningless idea that has no details that there is no evidence for

Nothing after death is pretty depressing to think about, to be honest. I'm trying to cope with that idea still. But I think an alternative afterlife I would like would probably be isekai, which is reincarnation into fiction. I don't take this seriously, and even if I was reborn in some fictional world, things might not be that much better, but who knows; it's fiction.
I'm not sure what I would choose to reincarnate in, but maybe Doki Doki Literature Club, since that's coming to my mind right now. I haven't played MiSide myself, but that'd be nice too. A world where I could feel true love and belonging could maybe be a heaven of sorts for me.

If not non-existence, an after-life where I can just observe what happens, as though an omnipresent spirit. I've always seen myself as more of an observer to life; as I've grown up, I've had to deal with the obligations of it. Life has turned into an existence where I can't just serve as an observer but have to be an active participant in society just to survive. If I didn't have to worry about any of that and could just observe without care, it'd be bliss. It'd allow me to watch over my loved ones as they go through their life, which is an added benefit.

I really don't want to live again or continue consciousness in some other place, preferably it's simply nothing after death. I personally have been dealt a really good hand in life, so I just feel like living or experiencing is not what I wish for in the future.

I think I'm too much of a nihilist and atheist to believe there is an afterlife of any kind. For me we simply stop breathing, our brains shut down. And we rot like everything else.
But if I could hope there is something of an afterlife, I'd like to simply be with my cat. Then find my first partner who's waiting up there already, who I would first punch before reconciliation.

I don't believe in an afterlife but since we're talking about our hopes; I hope everyone to have complete control over every part of themselves. Like, If I don't want to feel pain, I should be able to tune it down or eliminate it completely. If I want to be stronger, faster, more intelligent or different looking etc. I simply will it and it happens. This is fair for everyone. No one can harm another person without their consent. I mean, one can shut off their pain, shame and any kind of negative feeling on demand. And if you want to feel them, that's your choice too. Be whoever you want, feel whatever you want. You're your own god.

I wouldn't prefer anything other than non-existence, to me existence is the most dreadful, torturous abomination and it's one that just causes harm and suffering with no limit as to how much can be tortured and I find it the most terrible, dreadful tragedy how this existence was imposed, all I want is to never suffer ever again, I wish for no more pain and no more suffering and I'll only be at peace once I'm permanently unconscious with all gone and forgotten.

For me I want non existence. So I can't be hurt anymore. But if I couldn't have that. Then I'd prefer some kind of afterlife that I can meet the few SaSu members that said they'd be waiting for me on the other side if there was one. So we could meet again and continue our conversations.

well i'd like to have a next life as a bird, but i just started thinking that I would love to be a Thanatos-type ghost to guide suffering souls to peace.
