What’s with prisoners hanging themselves with bedsheets? How is this possible?

I don't want to put all this effort into it. I don't want to leave my bedroom. Id like to die here. I have plenty of bedsheets. How can I end my life with them? Thanks

I've been wondering about this, too. I'd say that they are desperate enough to do it with basically anything, but I believe I've also been quite desperate, aggressive and willing enough, and yet I didn't manage to pass out with partial. It's mind-boggling.

Logistics or the way it seems unpleasant af? Inmates also ctb by choking on socks and toilet plunger handles. Raw animal desperation. Also partial isn't "easy" at all, people fail that and have hellacious discomfort like clockwork. That's like "rob a vet for N" level brainworms

Thing about prison is whatever you can get outside of prison you can get inside prison.

Not all guards are dirty, but the ones that are learn really quick how to circumvent the system so the can sneak stuff in. Every prison has them. Just like every job has "bad" people. It's just humanity at its core. If you have money you could even get more peaceful methods smuggled in to you.

Because of those "bad" people though the good ones get lumped in with them and treated badly even when they are just doing their job to take care of their families…
