Discussion What's the most painful thing you've been told?

When it comes to me I'm not even certain about this.

Was it when my mother said that nowadays I'm her biggest problem?
Or when my love said that I'm a nobody for him to trust me?
Probably, the most painful thing I've heard somebody saying to me that I'm just a waste of human resources and I need to stop existing.

To me it's a word: 'whatever' or even 'ok'

Like if someone asks what's wrong, and I say "I'm just depressed" and they reply 'whatever' or 'ok' -- or even worse 'whatever, we're all depressed get over it'

It's a complete dismissal of all my feelings, mental state, well being, everything in a single word. Honestly a person could push me to a CTB just by saying 'whatever' or 'ok' at the wrong time even if I wasn't planning on it.

I know it's trivial compared to what many have been told, but it's just something that totally gets to me.

Oh my... my ex gf used to say the same. She just mentioned that every goddamn time when I was in a weak state. "I can't leave you, because then your death will be on me, but I would love to go away from you already", or "If I will leave you will commit suicide and ruin my life, stop being selfish and think about me for once".
Yeah... she never was beside me when I needed help. And when I was having a surgery in 2017... she just left me right after it. She said... "I'm done. I'm sick of you."
Sometimes I just truly don't understand why people are so... nah. I think it was my fault after all.

It wasn't something anyone said to me in particular, but everytime I'm reminded that I'm supposed to just carry on for the next several decades just barely surviving; it's like someone is squeezing my heart and lungs.

Fuck me, that's even painful secondhand. Few things make me angrier than seeing kind souls being exploited.

Never cared what people are saying. I really can't remember anyone saying something offensive to me in many many years. The only thing i took as an insult ever i think was "I don't wanne be involved".

I don't know why it hurt so much, but it did. Good laugh is my way to feel better, soo yeah, it was hard to know this and try not to do it anymore.
