  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

Both options kill you, does it really matter which is the most unpleasant. Even if you experience some pain it will be short lived and it will be worth it, if it means you lose consciousness and exit this world.

Heart attack - terrifying, painful very sudden and unexpected and probably in people who don't want to go.

SN if you're out fast you know nothing.

Heart attack is more painful and you can still be conscious during a heart attack. I think what you meant was a stroke. Strokes come out of nowhere sometimes and you drop dead or experience dizzyness and shortness of breath.

Ummm this is just a guess but maybe a heart-attack is worse than SN.

I saw a person ctb by SN and from that moment on, I decided I wanna ctb with that method.

I saw a poor woman on a plane have a heart attack. She suffered a lot. And we were in the air so nothing could be done for her. Her face turned several different colors and she was in so much pain. So I would guess heart attack is worse.

My dad had what they call a massive heart attack. He survived and told me that it felt absolutely awful and was terrifying. His words "felt like a gunshot from the back". Totally traumatized.

neither are going to be pretty but SN is more peaceful.

I had a heart attack once. It was horrible and scary. I think it's way worse than SN

If you're talking about heart attack being myocardial infarction, then heart attack is more painful.

If you're talking about cardiac arrest, then SN is less pleasant.

My method involves inducing cardiac arrest, and based on what I've read, it's relatively painless as if your heart just simply stops, you lose consciousness.

That said, if one does experience the painful kind of heart attack, pepto bismol helps. Doesn't stop the heart attack, it simply masks the pain of one.

How can you induce cardiac arrest?

How can you induce cardiac arrest?
A cardiac depressant; whether it'd be a calcium and sodium channel blocker, beta blocker, or cardiac glycosides.

Some are only pharmaceutically sourced, and some are naturally occurring in plants.

Would that be achieved by an amitriptyline od?

I'd say a heart attack. Because it's sudden and you're unprepared for it.
SN is different because you take it while in the mindset of catching the bus. So you've tamed your SI for the most part.
Where as when you're having a heart attack I imagine instant regret and unmended ties come to mind of what you should've done and wanted to remove for people who find you.

No experience but not all heart attacks are fatal and if your home alone could prolong the pain, whereas SN seems to render you unconscious within 30 minutes.

Cheers

If your referring the amitriptyline cocktail I know quite a bit about the method.not many first hand accounts on here though
I am. And yeah, I have some difficulty in that too. Which is why I've never been too certain. I have heard about someone vomiting all over the place before finally dying.
