It's my understanding, based on the last time I looked at the website a few months ago, that one has to be over 50 and prove it, or have a terminal illness and prove it. Am I incorrect about that?

Has to be a significant illnesses and it is possible to be under 50, but they do enquire and decide on an individual basis. If you're interested in Pegasos you can apply with your Exit I membership instead of paying 100 euros for a Pegasos membership, as they are both closely linked. I believe you get a membership pack with the usual paper and glossy leaflets and a small badge, plus access to forums etc. But you have to apply for that separately with proof, ID, and I believe you have to be a member of Exit I to go on the PP forums. I think they leave you alone after you've joined.
