My dad knows how badly I'm suffering and he says he'd rather I'd die at home than on my own in a field. They know it is inevitable.

It still feels wrong doing it at home, however it would be a lot easier.

Would you do it at home if you got this go ahead.

Why does it feel wrong after he told you that he'd prefer it? Do other people share the house with you two?

No, I don't know why it feels wrong.

I couldn't do it at home, even with the ok. It's bad enough they know our struggles, but I don't want them to find my body as well.

I'd be too paranoid that they would change their mind and call an ambulance once faced with my dying body.

Absolutely not, for that same reason. Also I'd prefer to die in nature.

Apologies if I sound rude, but that sort of indicates you'd already made a decision, and are looking for confirmation of its correctness...
I get the desire to be considerate, but I'd suggest asking him why he would rather have you die at home. Either way, you're going to cause distress, so I see no harm talking this through. A more complete understanding of what his thought process is here might help you be more sure about whatever you end up choosing to do.

The thing is I suffer from bouts of psychosis on a daily basis and being out in the woods trying to ctb worries me

Yes I would. I find it frustrating that I would be allowed to do it and it would be socially acceptable if I had cancer but terminal illness of the mind... you have to pop at the bottom of a cliff or die in a field
