If and when you finally get around to suicide, what song would you want to apply to the event, either practically or ideally?
It can be a song that people actually play at your funeral, a song you imagine playing at your fantasy funeral, or a song that would go along with your death as if it were a music video.
When I first planned and nearly attempted suicide at age 17, I made a CD compilation which I brought with me in a backpack to the park I wanted to hang myself in. I'm not going to do that next time I don't think. I don't think people who find me are going to share the connection I have to the music I've chosen.
Also I don't think I'd choose a song anymore. I wouldn't write a note either. Sorry guys, I've no creativity left! I'm passing that on to all of you!
EDIT: I wouldn't want this to be THE song, but just to bring something to the table: Colin Newman - Alone (1980) was a popular song among myself during my melancholic-suicidal teenage years.
