I'm not sure if any method will make it easier on the family, no matter what they will still be grieving. I personally like the idea of ctb in an isolated spot, and not being found. I understand you not wanting to cause pain to others, but for me it is not my concern as I will be no longer existing.

Not to be cruel, but I'd say none of them are "less" traumatizing or "easier" to "deal" with.
Your family will always ask why and what they could have done to stop you, or what might have prevented it, or what could have been. They will always live with the guilt. There will always be an empty chair at holiday gatherings. An empty seat on the bus if you ride public transit, an empty space in the heart that cannot be replaced.

The best way to look peaceful and have blush colored skin is carbon monoxide.
I specifically would prefer charcoal method in an enclosed area. But be sure nobody else is near that enclosed area.

I was thinking on ctbing somewhere far away. Drown myself in a lagoon and find a way to remain at the bottom, kinda like Virginia Woolf did.
Or just bury me and ctb on a hole.

If my parents never find me again, maybe they will think I have gone missing and the after a while they would accept that I'm gone.
