Lol the holy depressed trio.
the trinity

someone once told me that the test is heavily weighted to land you as an infp, but im not too certain. i wonder if its inaccurate or if infps are just more likely to take personality tests like that

INTP or ISTP

The first time I took the MBTI it was a work thing. At a "retreat", they split us up in groups and gave us assignments. It was remarkable the different answers groups came up with for the same question. It was probably my favorite work team building thing I've ever done.

I was in the minority in a staff of around 60, for both "I" and "T". There were lots of ESFJ's and ENFP's

Same here. I think people in this category like to create systems for solving problems. They get annoyed over bureaucracy and like to do what they feel is right instead of trying to compromise.

I'm not trying to say the mbti is the be all end all of assessments but do think they're better than horoscopes. If nothing else, it can help in the workplace (mainstream anyways) more than astrological signs.

We had weekly staff meetings where randomly someone would have to present on a case of theirs. My supervisor recognized that when we met 1 on 1 I always did a great job but in the group I tended to underperform. She had me create a form so that I could prepare a case in advance and it ended up improving it for everyone, plus, we ended up with templates that could be used for training.
The second way was they finally realized that the only introvert in the group was not the best person to make fundraise and I was thrilled to never have to do that again! Instead, I got more into grant writing and bringing $ in that way.

i believe i'm an istj. i can't be this rare. when i take the mbti test, it always results in the rarest ones but i think i'm just depressed, i'm not that smart or unique.

Lots of commonalities..

I'm INTP/INTJ something in between

Any thoughts on why we're so alike?

ISTJ. At least according to the test I took in my shrink's office many years ago. I think it's more or less right.

Introverted or Extroverted - does being with people energize (E) you or drain you (I)?
iNtuitive or Sensing - do you believe things you can't necessarily see with your own eyes? Yes = N. No = S.
Thinking or Feeling - do you make decisions based on rules (T) or relationships (F)?
Judging or Perceiving - do you feel better after making a decision (J) or worse (P)?

It's all on a spectrum, of course, but the iNtuitive / Sensing and Thinking / Feeling dimensions seem to be more fixed than the other 2.

I used to be an INTJ, then it changed into INFJ. And now I mostly end up with the ISFJ score. I think the events I went through changed my personality. I think I found out my intuition isn't worth shit.
