Use a knot that tightens easy, I used a hangmans knot, that works if you don´t make it to tight. Place the knot at the back of your neck and tighten it good before you hng yourself. Try to fall not to deep, that the sudden stop of your drop won´t hurt your neck. Try to use a not stretchy not too thick and not too thin rope (it depends on your weight/height) how thick it sould be. For a typical woman a 10mm nylon rope is good
Did you place the noose at the top of the neck?
How much did you tighten the noose before the actual hanging? Or how would you know it is tightened enough?

I don't understand what you mean by "fit complete to you neck". Did you actually compress your neck before the hanging started or did you simply have the rope in resting position, without compression?
I'm surprised it wasn't painful, given that you didn't even pad your neck in the front, as far as I understood.

I think she means that she tightened the knot on her neck as much as she could and then stepped off so that they would be minimum friction and pain. But I would also like for @Lady black to clarify.
