Curious as to what kinds of media people would indulge in as their last few moments approach. Who says you can't have a good time if you're going to be gone for the rest?

The answers can be a mix of your favourites or just things that you think would make waiting at the stop less daunting or even less boring.

Thanks for any input!

Personally I don't want to listen or watch anything manufactured before I go. If I had to choose or be forced to live, it would be classical music.

And that's completely okay! Nobody HAS to listen to anything. It's just a curious question. I think I'd want to watch something that makes me laugh.

If I had to chose I´d say Linkin Park for the lyrics or Blackmill for the nostalgia and relaxing feeling over it but personally I won´t listen to anything I just want to think about my childhood before I go.

Very reasonable answer.

Of course. I understand that completely. Personally, I'd rather not think about those things.

If you're looking for a good, yet intense movie about suicide, I recommend a movie called
"Night Mother" starring Sissy Spacek. The whole movie is about Sissy Spacek's mother
(played by Anne Bancroft) trying to convince her not to commit suicide. But her character spends the entire movie counteracting every one of her mother's arguments for why she shouldn't do it and getting everything ready for her suicide. It's a very interesting movie. It can be very intense though.

As for a song, there are 3 songs I would recommend. "Winter" by Atomic Rooster,
"Suicide Manifesto" by Rick Springfield, and
"I think I'm Gonna Kill Myself" by Elton John.

It's not really a show or a movie, even though it is an anime, but the anime doesnt give this series justice though. It's a visual novel video game series called Utawarerumono The Mask of Deception and the Mask of Truth. There is some gameplay, but the majority is just story, a really good one. The audio is in Japanese, but there is English subtitles. If games are not your thing, they have videos of the entire series on YouTube. It is a story that pierces my soul, one that I greatly recommend. If your are a fan of Japanese stories, then it is a story that I would definitely say you would get hooked on. If you are not a fan of Japanese VG, stories, culture, etc, you might not like it, but I have heard of people that are not a fan of anything Japanese, that have played these games or watched the videos get hooked to these stories. Also the soundtrack to this series is phenomenal, best video game soundtrack I have ever heard, hell best soundtrack of all time in my opinion. The 2 best tracks of them all are called, Risa Taneda- Sadame and Utawarerumono- Futatsuboshi. I listen to these soundtracks once a day, every night while I have my last cigarette of the night and stare at the moon. These 2 tracks are the epitome of peace in my opinion, and whenever I ctb, I want to have these tracks on a loop while I'm waiting for the SN to kick in. But yea, i recommend going through the videos of the games, it's got a bit of comedy to them, mostly the first part, but it starts to get a bit dark, going through the second part. I resonate with these stories because it deals alot with death and life problems and such

I'd start by reading and listening to everything I've written and composed, so that I could feel like I've created something meaningful. I'd cap that off with a listening of Fantaisie-Impromptu by Chopin, Claire de Lune and Reverie by Chopin, and Une Barque sur L'Ocean by Ravel. I'd listen to La Campanella by Liszt, then listen one last time to the full Sophomore Storytime EP by Bell's Worth, fading out in the final act of the piece.
For whoever finds my body, I leave Je te Veux by Satie on repeat.

Silence. I don't think there is any audio/video that would do justice or bring comfort at such a time, just my own thoughts.

That would definitely be something spectacular from 60s / 70s or 80s, just to remind myself of mankind's greatest ahievements in music. Some jazz / blues / pop music would definitely do a thing.

Yes, i've heard of Coldplay but I'm not familiar with them. I like all different kinds of music from all different eras, so I'll have to check them out. Thanks for the suggestion!
