What happens after?

I'm terrified of the idea. That you can't kill yourself.
Because you can't just cease to exist, so you consciousness transfers to your next self. So no matter how many times you kill yourself, you will never actually die, until time runs out for you, and all of your alternative selves die off.

But what if you CAN die? I don't think anyone can be 100% certain. But if this is what you believe, I guess I understand any reluctance to bring about your own death.

I'll let you know when I'm dead.

I used to think that life is instructive lesson. I believed we were reincarnating as humans for the evolution of the soul. But now that i'm close to CBT, I think after there is nothing. Nothingness.

Only really two possibilities, an afterlife or oblivion. As a Roman Catholic the afterlife I'd ascribe to is Heaven or Hell, depending on the particular person. Otherwise, it's eternal oblivion, which is also logical. Oblivion is not like sleep, it's the complete absence of being. When you wake from sleep (even dreamless) there is a definite sense of the passage of time, that's not the case with oblivion, it's timeless. The best way to describe it would be to try to comprehend earth before you, that's what it will be like when you're gone, you'll perceive nothing because you will be nothing. I was put under for surgery once and I believe it's very similar, you loose all sense of existence and just fade into the ether. You end when your consciousness ends.

I sort of believe in the reincarnation. When you die, most people decompose so your atoms become ingested by decomposer. Then something else eats the decomposers and so on...

Just because you don't remember something doesn't mean you didn't exist. No one remembers the time they were 6 months old, yet they presumably had experiences then.
We may have lived 1000s of different lives before birth, yet we don't remember the experiences.

That's a fascinating topic. If it's true that the brain gets flooded with DMT, it could signify a number of possibilities.
It could be a biochemical coping mechanism, it could be a random atavistic reversion to ancestral beings whose brains had much higher levels of DMT, or it could be a portal to another dimension of reality. Or it could be a combination of these or all three.

Life is just the primer for the anime after life.
It makes sense we suffer so we can enjoy the blissful existence forever after more.
Even 100 years of pain is less than a blink of an eye in eternity.

Might be called dumb for this, but personally, I think that you'll go wherever you believe you'll go. If you believe in eternal nothingness, that's what you'll experience, if you believe in heaven, that's where you're headed, etc.
